Hi all. I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I currently have a basic subscription to Cho*us (MMDS in Ennis) (which i intend keeping). My understanding is that if I purchase a Dreambox with a DVB-T tuner that i will be able to descramble the signal and get additional channels. I have a couple of questions regarding this. 1). There's a vast difference in price with the above 2 models. 266 Euros vs 533 Euros. Is the 7025+ worth the hefty price? 2). Am I on the wrong track here altogether? Is the Dreambox the way to go? 3). Anybody know of somewhere in the Munster region where I can buy a Dreambox (DVB-T version) 4). Apart from downloading the correct image to the Dreambox and all that stuff do I require any additional hardware? Many thanks in advance and apologies for the "newbie" questions....
I have a DM7025 with a Sat and Cable Tuner. It works great for Sat and NTL Cable. I don't know any dealer in Ireland that sells the 7025. I got mine from the UK. You could try Zintec. I see they have a 7020 advertised. http://www.zintek.tv/zintek/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=20&Itemid=1
I have a 7025+ sat receiver. What is the best image to use. I understand I will need a card for this box, where is the best place to obtain/discuss cards?
