I have a previously working Dreambox 800 I now have no channels at all. I've tried pli-enigma2-jade2-dm800-20090504-6357.nfi & NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-dreamboxclones.co.cc.nfi I have a bootloader of r72 When I go into Satfinder I get the following message: 'No Sattelite frontend found' When I go to Tuner configuration/Choose Tuner - I get the following message: 'Tuner A: Alps BSBE2 (DVB-S2) Nothing Connected If I press ok on that, I get a message -> 'Reception settings/Configuration Mode - nothing connected' I have a friends box who is using pli-enigma2-jade2-dm800-20090504-6357.nfi and it works fine If I go to automatic scan - I get the following message: 'Nothing to scan! Please check your tuner settings before you start a service scan.' Is there a config file I can take from that box and copy over?? Can anyone help? Thanks
When no tuner detected, sounds like its not, check unit and make sure tuner is in position properly, might have got knocked loose!! IF the tuner is soldered in - thats a diff story!
Did it just stop working ? or did you flash a new image ? each time you flash a new image you have to reconfigure settings on the dreambox all over again incl the tuner, goto the main menu & run the start wizard again,
I fixed that problem by going into Tuner Config - clicking on it and moving the remote to the right and manually selecting the 28.2E transponder. Problem now is that an automatic scan hasn't picked some of the HD channels - I've uploaded a bouquets file and when I click on some HD channel I get a 'Tune failed' error or 'service not found! SID not found in PAT. If I do a manual scan are there particular settings I should choose?
some channels don't broadcast 24/7 & you'll get the 'Tune failed' error or 'service not found! SID not found in PAT message for that reason anyway,.I did'nt pickup all channels when I used the gemini image that came with the 800hd either,..1st rule out bad connections/long runs between the dish & 800,.2nd try another image,..nabilosat blackhole ver 12 it's for 800hd's with bootloader 72, 3rd there is a known issue with some tuners with older revisions, an inline signal amp sorts this out. 4th did you download CCcam ver 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 ? What channels are missing ? do you get freezing/glitching on other channels? are you sharing ?,...let me know. BTW remember you will have to go theough the config process again each time you flash an image.
Cable run is ok as tested a geniune box and it works fine. I'm using CCcam ver 2.1.1 - should I go to 2.1.2? I'll also try an inline amp booster. No real freezing on other channels so far. Unrelated question - there is an audio track describing whats happening on screen - how can I turn this off?
the audio is set for narration, press audio on the remote & turn it off, CCcam 2.1.1 is fine, is your scanning/tuner setup as in the pic ?
thats the one, I'm not convinced that will solve the problem, is it only HD channels that are missing ? are all HD channels missing even BBC HD ? a scan should pull in around 1140 channels at 28.2deg east astra/eurobird location.
I haven't flashed with the updated image you suggested yet - plan on doing that tonight. For the most part, all non-HD channels work fine - though when I turn the box on at first, I get tuner errors and need to do a couple of reboots every day - then it's intermittent HD channels that don't work. I didn't pick up as many as that I don't think - I did an auto-scan with the details you mentioned
I'm confused, earlier you said you tried nabilosat blackhole ver 12 ? also some posters found they had to re-seat the tuner, the tuner modile is solderd into a small PCB which then slots into the main PCB, try this if all else fails.
Sorry for any confusion - I haven't updated the image as yet. I removed the cover and seen the Tuner before - it seemed pretty solidly connected - I'll try reseating that too and report back
OK followed your instructions and flashed with the image you suggested. I went through the Network wizard and that worked fine. I went to Tuner Configuration and setup as follows: Tuner A: ALPS BSBE2 (DVD-S2) Sats: Astra 2A/2B/2C/2D/Eurobird1(28.2E) Config mode: simple Mode: DiSEqC A/B Port A: Astra 2A/2B/2C/2D/Eurobird1(28.2E) Port B: Nothing connected Set voltage & 22Khz: yes Send DisEqC only on: No When I press the Blue button, I get the following: 1 Cam installed If I press Green: Blackhole Automcam manager -> default Cam: Common interface There doesn't seem to be an option to go right/left/up/down to select a new CCam When I go to Set/Service Searching - all indicators are at 0% There was bad weather here yesterday and it's possible the dish was moved out of position. If I leave that screen open and adjust the dish, will the indicators move up as I put the dish back aligned to 28.2e on my roof?
To download CCcams press GREEN then YELLOW & select "addons download manager" pick the CCcam version you want,CCcam 2.1.1 or 2.1.2....To download plugins press MENU, go to PLUGINS ,press OK then GREEN button, you'll then see a list of plugins/addons you can download....also why are your tuner settings different to the ones I have in the image a few posts back ? set mode to single .
CCam downloaded - cheers. I have a bad connection at the LNB so will fix that in morning and see if other issue is resolved.
time to get the ladder out but be carefull,...very bad weather expected tomorrow, your next post might be a call for advise on how to make a splint for a broken leg,...;-)
I connected a working Inetbox300 and got all FTA channels - am working on that box as a seperate issue. When I start CCcam 2.1.1 and try any channel, I get the following error: 'Tune failed' When I do a scan, I'm only picking up about 600 channels In Satfinder, all indicators are at 0% Satfinder settings are as follows: Tune: Manual Transponder Sat: Astra 2A/2B.....28.2 System: DVB-S Frequency: 11836 Inversion: Auto Symbol Rate: 27500 Polarity: Horizontal FEC: Auto Can anyone help? Thanks
