Hi Guys, I would like to know if Dreambox 500C (cable version) version is just has easy to setup i.e installing the software (firmware), setting CCCam and getting hold of a C line from a provider or do you only have to install firmware to view other channels? The reason I ask is becasue I have cable wiring in all bedrooms so the 500c version would be easier to view channels in all rooms but if all else fails then I will have to choose 500s (satelite Version) instead but only view in living room.
Is there any box that still works for cable? I used to have eurovox but that stopped working since the nagra 3 encryption came out. Would you say dreambox 500S is future proof for the next year?
