can u clean a dvd drive, along with a lot of other electronic equipment using canned air? is it usfull?
For the DVD drive, you are better off going to Radio Shack or Best Buy and purchasing a laser lens cleaning disk.
Hi GrandpaBW, I purchased a *Memorex CD/DVD Laser Lens Cleaner* that will NOT load in either of my my internal CD or DVD Burners. However, it does load in my set-top players just fine. I wrote to Memorex and their reply was that their cleaner was NOT designed to work in computer system players. Note that the back of their packaging states.... "Use the Laser Lens Cleaner to ensure crisp, clear playback on your stereo and successful installation of CD/DVD based softwear ON YOUR COMPUTER." Talk about false advertising! Have you been successful in using a Laser cleaner in your computer?
