drive plays cds but always shows the same album

    whether itunes or wmp, the cd drive plays accurately but always disiplays wrong album on drive icon and playlist tracks. please advise

    Usually, one does not expect to see an album displayed when using a CD. Play from a hard drive where each album has its own folder and it ought to work. There is a default name for the image not the name of the album so there can only be one for a CD or folder. If that does not work you will need to manually put it in. I think the name is folder.jpg.

    thanks for your input. whatever might have been corrupted in that sequence, booting up corrected the anomaly.
