   I'm trying to make sure my dvd burners drivers are up to date, but I can't see what kind of burner I've got in the device manager. Any ideas short of opening up my computer and taking it out to look?

   download and install this program:
   http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4181
   it should tell you what drive you have (and every other part in your computer as well)

   cd & dvd drives don't come with drivers as they use the windows default driver.
