Can someone help me? I run XP, and the drop down menus in such as IE which used to appear in full immediately have now changed to selective drop-down mode, and I can't remember how to change them back. I do remember that the option is in some obscure place that no-one would ever find unless they knew it was there, but I just can't remember where that is. Nor does the wonderful Windows Help system help me, but that's no surprise.
I'm not sure how to do that in IE (I'm a Firefox user), but in Word, go to "Tools" then "Customize". Click the "Options" tab, and deselect "Menus show recently used commands first." Hope someone else can chime in for your IE problem.
