I received my ds fire card in the mail today, although it wasn't running any of the roms i was trying. Instead I got a white screen when i loaded a game from the menu. I anxiously reformatted the card losing the original menu file and dssystem folder. Now I can't load the menu at all, it flashes some script for a fraction of a second then goes to a double white screen. I've tried several solutions including reformatting and putting new MK5 files in. I can still use USB mode fine but none of the new file batches work, Probly because i never updated correctly. How can I fix this?

format again [[hold down start & select while card is booting to format]] and put this newest dslinker xmenu in....
    http://www.dslinker.cn/soft/
    .
it's the one at the top...says 'DSLinker XMENU 2.55'

i did exactly what you said with no results. does it matter that i don't have the folder in there that originally came with it?

    good point, mary.
Firecard--DSLinker--Fcard--Ncard--MK5 are all basicly the same card & will happily work with each others xmenus.
i just put in the link for the dslinker one coz it's the most recent update.

    1 question, bats...

    .
you mean the folder called 'DSYSTEM' i assume.
..when you put the xmenu into the card(unzip it, then drag & drop), then turn on the DS, the dsystem folder will be created automaticaly.
