Greetings all, I need some help. I let my nephew play with my ds the other day and when I came back home they informed me that it was broke. After taking a closer look at it all regular games work on my ds but the R4 card will not boot up. I have tried putting it in my nephews and it works just fine but for some reason the R4 will not work in mine. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix my DS. Thank you,
if it works in your nephews but not yours then it sounds like the contacts of the r4ds are not touching properly in your ds . is there any dust or dirt stopping it from contacting , try blowing in the slot . there is a trick you could try , cut a piece of thin card and slot it in your ds facing the sticker on your r4ds , what this does is push the r4ds slightly closer to the contacts , so that it makes a better contact inside your ds . ( ive only had to do that trick once in the 30 or so r4ds ive bought for friends and family ) let me know how you get on mate , woof811.
