Looks like a pirate to me. What software did you put on, the card needs a firmware to run. See the site in my signature and if you have put nothing on add either 4.3a or 1.34 Sakura, unzip them and you get a folder named system. Put the whle thing on to the card, create a folder called NDS and put a game rom into this - does it now work?

The pirate cards usually have www.adaptese.com or something else similar on the packaging.

Worse case did you try the sd card from the first in the new one. If you get menu then it is probable an R4 or DSTT close made to look loke an M3 - if you can get your money back then do so. If not then try the site on the front of the packaging for the firmware.

You have probably paid more than the £5 a real DSTT costs (that is really all they cost) but at least you should be able to get it working.

I buy my M3 cards from dealextreme (£19) but make sure you avoid the adaptese version (this is the fake)

i have gone onto www.m3adaptes.com and downloaded system files it has gone past the menu? but all i have now is vertical lines on both screens and a square box in one corner rolling as if it is loading.i'm quite determined to beat this. have taken your advice and ordered two from dealextreme.com......they also sell m3 real adaptes at almost half the price....so them must work it's finding the right system files.....i think

I dunno, might be pirate, try reformatting and copying your SYSTEM folder over again. Try different versions, even really old ones, or Sakura firmware. Might be like R4 Clone even, so try older R4 Firware.

P.S. Deffenitly reccomend Formatting, try FAT16 for 1GB and under and FAT32 for 2GB and over. (In case you have a lot of little files numbering up.)

    Hope this helps!

Formatting - use Panasonics SD Formatter - does everything for you.

www.adaptese.com, these ARE fake cards, if you but an M3 Real new it should be the new side loader type - the SD slot is no longer on the top of the card but on the side so it cannot be seen unless you remove it from the flash card. If you want to know more about the fakes they are listed on the www.adapter.com website
