DS problems loading moonshine onto 4gb R4

    Hi,
    just bought an R4 4gb loaded the latest firmware 1.18 from R4 site and the DS is having problems! what happens is when i put the R4 into the DS the top screen says loading and thats it, just locks there.
    Any help will be well appreciated.

    as far as i am aware, the genuine R4 does NOT support 4GB or more. try using a 2GB or 1GB memory card.

    Thanks for the reply, it was the R4 cartridge itself the memory card is ok. Put it into a TT cartridge, loaded the relevent software and it works fine.

    Your R4 cart is probably OK as well. As MaryD7 pointed out, Original R4 cards do NOT support SHDC
