R4 - well this option is one of the 9 clones available. Do your homework and look at the other forums here before you buy, as the best advice is avoid anything with the R4 name in it and get something else. I believe this is the one that although says SDHC it ignores anything over 4GB so not a true SDHC card. (on an earlier forum!)
This R4 takes upto 8GB i have this card myself and mines working great! i dont get what you are trying to get at?
What I am trying to say, is make sure that you do your homework before buying ANYTHING using the R4 name. R4 was the king of its time a fantastic card unsurpassed for years (well many months anyway) low cost reliable the mini of its day (flshcart to the masses), however over the years other teams have jumped on the R4 name and tried to get people to buy their card, there are now 9 cards all using the R4 name. Most are different teams jumping on the bandwagon, some are good most are not, if you are new to flash carts the simplest thing is avoid the R4 name. The original R4 is dead the team disbanded and no more official software will be released, some of these cards actually use the original software as the basis for their own. With 9 cards which one is a good one and which useless!! After much screwing around, I finally got my 8GB SDHC card at least booting in my R4 SDHC.... However, now I can't get games to work if I load more that 4GB worth of games...
