Just got a ds simply and tried a couple of roms. The rom, I wanted to play most wouldnt work. I get an error message when I go to start the rom, saying something like 'Data could not be read, turn the power off and reinser game card'. can anyone help??
right mate dont panic there is nothing wrong with the rom you are trying to play . the ds simply just needs a firmware update to make the rom work ! latest firmware is v1.11 English version and can be found here - http://www.handheldsources.com/M3DS/Download_M3DSS.html http://gbatemp.net/index.php?dlcategory=38 http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ very easy to update the firmware as follows - 1, download and unrar the firmware. 2, copy the 2 folders and 2 files to the memory card . 3, it may ask you do you wish to replace the current files with the new files , just click yes. 4, put the memory card back in the m3 ds simply . 5, job done firmware updated ! woof811.
