CAN ANYONE HELP ME,I HAVE BOUGHT MY SON A DSI AND HAVE A DSTTI CARD FOR IT,I WENT AHEAD AND UPDATED THE DSI TO GO ONTO THE SHOP,NOW MY DSI IS UPDATED TO 1.4E AND MY DSTTI CARD WILL NOT WORK ANY HELP THANKS
Step-by-step guide to upgrade the DSTTi 1.4 Firmware to support DSi firmware 1.4 What you will need to update your DSTTi Card: * DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4X (1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U & 1.4A) e.g 1.3 or 1.2 or 1.1 * DS Lite Console * DSTTi Card Loaded with Official Standard Firmware V1.15 * DSTTi Update for DSi 1.4 Download from here To Check Your DSi Firmware Version: * Click 'Setting' on the Main Menu * In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say VER 1.X STEPS: 1. Backup data of the TF card, then format it. 2. Download the official ttmenu v1.15, and unzip it on TF root folder. 3. Unzip 'DSTTi_v1.4_firmware.7z' you will then have three files: rom_pcb1.dat,rom_pcb2.dat,TTi14UPGRADE.nds 4. Copy the three files to the root of the Micro SD memory card. 5. Place the Micro SD back into the DSTTi Card and insert into DSL/DSi Console 6. Select the Firmware file TTi14UPGRADE.nds 7. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the rest, which should not take long. Hi there, ***noobie alert*** I have a dstti card & have tried this guide & all I get is the little square in the bottom left hand corner loading & the load bar goes up a little bit & thats it. My DSi is 1.4 & a DSlite so I have tried it on the lite. Nothing!!! Also I have another dstti which is fake is there anything i can do to get this working. it works on my DSlite fine but promised it to a mate for his kids DSi.
http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4086 try this download link unzip and put on micro sd card run in a working dstt if you can not boot the non working one if you try a couple of times taking micro sd in and out sometimes it will boot, if you used a working dstt press a on the flash writer and once program loaded remove card don't run program put fake card in (it does not need a micro sd card at this stage) run program, once done its now fixed, DO NOT use the firmware's 1.16 and above from dstt.com you can delete the firmware writer and checker file and run games from this firmware you have on micro sd at present, make a games folder and put .nds files in there, just done this for the two cards i bought of dealextreme after getting two white screens and a failed boot works fine now.
what firmware you using, use 1.17a12 as it is the newest one out is your dsi on 1.4 firmware? have you upgraded the dstti card to match it fix for this error http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-176/..._4e_dsi-815300/
hi there i followed the exact details above and got mine to work no prob did you put the files on the sd card and then place them into a ds lite with firmware lower than 1.4 if not you need to
Sorry guys my bad!! Both of my DSTTi cards are fake. Yippee more cash down the drain. I now have 3 cards that are only good for a DSlite which you could say was lucky but I only have 2 DSlite`,deal extreme suck.... Gonna try & find an acekard next, any suggestions as where to get a real one? Bearing in mind I`m in the UK
I have got as far as press a to load flashwriter then i get "not support device" what should I do next?? Earlier i got blue vertical lines when i tried to do the fix from before. WTF?
ndscardshop.co.uk i loaded software on a ds lite the card i used was original booted up the writer from there, then swapped to the fake card and pressed a it had no micro sd in it
Man!!! I cant believe that people can be bothered to make fake cards anyway. They must cost just the same in time & money to manufacture. Anyway thanks for your help gonna buy acekard2i when I get some more money. Will try ndscardshop at least it wont take 4 years to arrive even if it is £7 more.
i got sick of waiting DX's 4-6 weeks delivery just to get a non-functioning fake or nothing at all, ndscardshop.co.uk so far i had a few and they genuine and 3 days delivery to uk addresses
