dsi wifi with games wpa psk problem

under system settings i turn wireless communications on, internet connection settings. I cannot connect to the internet using connection 1 through 3 so, i go to advanced set-up connection 4 search for an access point enter my wpa psk click ok, then do you want to save these settings? ok, connection settings have been saved. Begin connection test? i choose ok, testing connection..., connection test successful support code 61212. I can go on-line to the dsi shop but cannot connect to an on-line game, it says when trying to play a game "no compatible access point in range and takes me to set-up the dsi wireless on connections 1 through 3 only these do not handle any security except wep, error code 51099. I thought you could use most types of security enabled access points to go on-line game playing.
