Dslite games and ds games

Be gentle with I am new and don't know if this is where I need to be..
I have brought my daughter a dslite for Xmas and was
wondering if the normal ds games can be
played on it..

yeah. haha. um the DS Lite is a new and improved version of the regular DS. it is lighter and brighter (four screen adjustments) than the old one, but still plays the same games and also Game Boy Advance games.

where have the day's gone when the kids got a couple of board games
a selection pack and some fruit.... :0

She loves her dslite just need to get more games now..
As the two she has are apparently not enough huh!!
Off back to The Game shop again...........
