My DSTT was always freezing when I tried to play some of the games and when I turned the ds on sometimes it wouldnt load, so recently I downloaded the latest software for it, but when I try to plug it into my pc through the usb adapter it wont show up, it says something like your new hardware was not installed correctly.

The problem is how am I supposed to format the stick and re install the software if it wont show up in My computer?

you plugged your dstt? the sd card you mean right? the memory has nothing to do with the functionality of the card--all you need are the system files. That probably means the ms is a fake. Make sure your sd reader supports your ms, and works.

And your freezing issue was nothing to do with the firmware.

Try the paper shim trick - put a thin piece of card or folded paper behind the DSTT to make sure it gets good contact with the DS contacts.

    Most flashcarts suffer with this
