Hey. Has anyone else had any problems with the new(ish) dstti cards when using 8, 16 or 32 gb sdhc cards? I have encountered a number of errors; starting with file corruption and progressing through to inability to read files or freezing when part loaded. I've used the checker and know that its not fake, and the sdhc card has passed any other read/write assignments i tried. I formatted it to fat32 with 64K and then 32K allocations(32K has so far worked the best) through Dos. I have tried Menu kernals 1.16, 1.17(so far worked best), 1.17a(complete failure - my advice is to avoid it like the plague), 1.18 and 1.19(neither of these two had a .sys file. It got just past the first loading screen and froze with a white screen). I tried to update the firmware to 1.4(on Dsl), but it told me it wasn't required. Any ideas???
im using a 16gb in a dstti with 1.17a12 firmware on a dsi 1.4e, no problems no game lag or corrupt save data although i avoided kingston like the plague as they do have all the problems your describing. i am currently on XP and i just formatted the card with the default settings. Im using a scandisk Micro sdhc class 2 c16g japan reads in pc as 14.9gb fat32. if you in uk and go to play.com search micro sdhc ive used the play.com brand and scandisk no problems. the dstti card might have been upgraded if it shows the star wars lethal alliance logo for the cart, which is ment for 1.4 firmware, you get more apps like face-book up-loader for the photos and you can download the flip notes and web browser that come preinstalled on 1.4, i didn't try and download it on 1.1 as i didn't know they were out then.

Cool, thanks for that. I have the genuine card, which is a relief! could it be a dodgy rom or two? I forgot to say also that some of the games, when they did show up on the menu, were showing up without a game image(sometimes noting at all except a white box) and/or the 4/5 digit code.
a few roms do not work with it daniel x, icarly, just sing. (mario and sonic winter Olympics, bowsers inside story, c.o.p the recruit need patching), and corrupt roms cause problems. google .nds rom loads of sites on first page
