I currently have windows 7 with truecrypt installed on the hard drive. However I was planning to shrink the windows install and install Backtrack as well.

I dont know if grub will screw up the truecrypt bootloader or not.

I was looking for some advice on whether or not this will overwrite the truecrypt bootloader, or if grub will be unable to chainload the truecrypt bootloader if I so choose to boot windows instead.

    All feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

yeah.. i'm interested also.. I haven't tried the latest backtrack yet, and I never install it, because that is a silly thing to do when you consider it's intended purpose... i run it on lappys with no batteries and no swap file, just an external power supply for instant kill..

Well, it overwrote the truecrypt bootloader, and I've been reading a bit more. The only way is to boot from recovery truecrypt cd.
