I have added a second Viewsonic VX2433wm monitor so i can run two monitors on my pc. However, the resolution is still 1900 x 1200. Is there a way to increase the resolution since i have extended my second monitor? I also have a GTX 590 dual gpu, so i have the ability to run 3 monitors at once. Also how do i play games or videos using both screens at once. Every time I maximize my screen, it only maximizes on one monitor.

your monitors determine the max resolution as my 2 computers have the same video card in both but my resolutions are different, the acer 24" has max res of 1900x1080 & the samsung 19" square has max 1280x1024. get a bigger screen for the games\videos as a customer uses her 32"plus tv to watch movies off her 17" hp laptop. did you try changing the resolution individually 1 after the other?

Well I have an nvidia video card and the Nvidia surround only works when 3 monitors are attached. And both of my monitors are the same at the same resolution.

post in this link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/677037 as it is pc gaming videocard forum for that question. i remember 1 of the other mods talking about a program to use at least 2 monitors but that was between 2004-2006 & maybe not using pci\e 16 videocard.
