I am looking for a way, if possible, to create a dual purpose DVD. I have a DVD video ready to burn which should be around 2GB. I would like to use the remaining space on the disk to hold photos of the same event which can be accessed using a computer. Any idea how I can do this? Most DVD burning programs ask if you want to burn video or data and have no option for both that I can find.

I do this a lot. What I do is make a folder for all the stuff to go in. Then I make a Video_ts subfolder for the dvd video an Audio_ts subfolder out of habbit Then a subfolder called pix or jacket depending on what I am doing. I make the dvd in the video_ts subfolder then put pix or whatever in the other folder. After it is all the way I want it I then use folder2iso on the main folder to make an iso image. It makes the image of the subfolders as main folders without the original folder on the dvd. Folder2iso is here http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareFolder2Iso.html I have found that there is a few players that will not play this but most do.
