    My MOBO is socket 775

Want to go fron pentium D 820 to Q6600.

What is there to consider? Will it run quad?

Quads were not out when MOBO was built. Does the Bios have to be quad ready?

Not 100% sure, i think the MOBO is P4M800PRO-M, i can check later when i'm at home if you need it.

No, you can't use a Quad core with that motherboard. Besides, the build quality of a lot of ECS boards means even if it was, it would probably melt after a few weeks.
