I want to transfer or "dub" my vhs tapes to dvd using the magnavox mwr20v6. I understand about the copyright problems. I have 2 questions: A) can you watch a tv channel while dubbing, and B) I have a cable box that has a dvr enclosed, can I record to the cable box dvr AND the mwr20v6 at the same time? pj......after you click the "dub" button on the remote and process is started, click on the "tv/vcr" button on the upper left of the combo remote and then use your tv remote to watch what you want. if you want to go back, just repeat the process. put the tv channel on 3 i think, click on "tv/vcr" button the combo remote and you're back to watching your tape feed on the tv....... i can't help you on the other issue as i have that setup..hope this helps
