I must be behind on the times. I just learned they had a duel sim card phone. Give me some input. How do they work,is it an adaptor, good, bad??? Can you get it to work on two diff types of networks?

Basically it's a phone with 2 sim cards in.. allowing 2 numbers/networks. With most you have to reboot the phone each time you want to change between the cards. They tend to be expensive, and I don't really see much point to them.. Just swap your sim if you want to use a different network.

Some will support a "dual standby" mode.. which is nice.. here's the one I have.

Not exactly a great phone, but I tend to be working where networks are bad so it does have it's uses.

I am in Jamaica, I have one since February 2008. Works quite well. It's tri-band. With mine, I dont have to reboot the phone to switch to the other, both my simcards are active same time. It works for me cause I have simcards for two different companies here (Cable and Wireless & Digicel ). So it works perfectly for me :)
