dumb question, to flash your dvd drive do you need to take it out?

    Do you need to take it out and connect it to your computer or does the xbox 360 have the ability to get flashed through usb cables or something else without being opened? Today's next-gen consoles are so advanced I don't know what they can do.

    You don't need to remove it, but you do have to open the Xbox!
