duox2 boots to bios, input doesn't do anything

Here's hoping someone has had this happen to them. I have installed a duox2 on an xbox 1.6 with a correct LPC rebuild. Bank 0 will boot fine (except it doesnt detect CPU temp) but a working controller wont move the menus or do anything (tested, as the box works normally with signed code.) Bank 1 does not boot and shows a black screen (or sometimes a really horrible noise.)

I put the same chip in a semi-working 1.4 box (it displays black and white for some reason, but thats another story) and lo, bank 0 boots, but the input still doesnt do anything on either bank.

    What am I doing wrong?

Well first, what DuoX 2 chip do you have? Lite, regular, Cromwell/flashbios?

Make sure that everything is connected correctly, and that all of your solder points are perfect. Pay close attention to your D0 point, and make sure it is good to go.

If your controller doesn't work, then remove any memory cards and leave only one genuine Micro$oft controller plugged into port 1. If it still doesn't work, try using the Micro$oft DVD remote control and dongle (grab a mates if you don't have one as you won't need it for long). If your still having trouble make sure you are using the standard AV cable.

I wonder if bank 1 is corrupt? I have never heard of this happening but I guess it is possible.
