Duplicate Frames

Okay i dont think this is a playback question but:

I'm trying to encode a video that DGIndex shows as NTSC and Interlaced. I was following the DVD to XViD Guide and it sayed try to use force film. I did and in GKnot i still get this:



Im a noob at this and completely lost. Can someone help?

 

i titled this wrong. and it only does that when there is motion. help?

 

Force film is for when you have a progressive source with 3:2 pulldown flags. Your source would be interlaced, possibly hybrid.

 

so what do i do

 

i checked the video again. and if hybrid meant only a few interlaced frames. and a few progressive frames. you were right.

Im still stuck.

 

AHHH i need HELLPPP if someone can help me ill.....worship you. every 4th frame is blurred. ive tryed searching but i cant find anything

 

I'd suggest that you head over to the doom9 AVISynth forum and do some reading. Learn how to use decomb, etc.
