...but you can only use DVDXCOPY if it's an NTSC disc. The developer's of the programme can't quite grasp that there is, for the time being at least, life outside the United States.

The FAQ on the DVDXCopy website says that copying of only NTSC discs are supported by the software. They say that PAL compatibility is something they are "looking at". But what you are saying is PAL discs CAN be copied. Obviously as you have been successfully using the prog to process Region 2 PAL discs, the FAQ is writing through it's arse. Thanks for the tip-off. I'll try a test disc. cheers
