I want to compile a dvd with 3 seperate shows, running about 3 hours or so total with a menu. i then want to bring the file onto dvd shrink and compress it so that it fits onto a single layer dvd. i tried it with the three, and dvd author wont let me, it gives me an error reguarding address or something. it wont allow it, even if i select a dual layer disc, which it says it will fit on. if i take one off, i can create and save the file fine. is there anyway around this error so that i can fit more that the two?
What video editing software package are you using to compile your streams. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus and have no problems with creating, processing and compressing a dvd which goes beyond the 4.7 gig single layer size. Studio will do all of that in it's creation of the DVD. I have been able to copy my dvd's I've created with Shrink after this process as well.
