Hello, I've been having trouble getting DVD's i've made to play in standalone players. I know that older players can't read DVD+/-R DVD's however this isn't a problem for me. My backup DVD's work fine but when i'm trying to create my own DVD's from scratch everything works smoothly on a computer prior to burn, but the burn won't play in standalones.

All of the video files have been encoded in .m2v 720x480 5000KBPS format with the audio .wav LPCM sampled at 48000hz approx 1500ishKBPS.

I've tried removing the motion menu, it still didn't work in the player.
I've also tested that the player plays backup dvd's, and it does with no problems. So the problem lies within my homemade menu/video

I believe i've found the problem after several days, and about 40+ coasters. I'm not sure how to fix it though.

The project that I created in Ulead DVD Workshop 2
would play perfectly on a PC but not on a standalone.

The same occured in DVD Lab. I opened up the files
created by UDVDW2 with Dvd Shrink and noticed that
    my menus were wierd.

    In DVD Shrink,

    The Workshop Project Structure

    DVD
    -Menus
    --Title Menus
    ---Unspecified
    ----Menu5
    -Main Movie
    --title1
    --title2
    --title3
    -Extras
    --theme
    --credits

    DVD Lab

    DVD
    -Menus
    --Title Menus
    ---English
----Menu 1 (no such menu in authoring displays as black, white and gray vertical bars) .04mb duration 0.0
    --VTS 1
    ---English
    ----Menu 2 (motion menu)
    ----Menu 3 (still menu)
    -Main Movie
    --title 1
    --title 2
    --title 3
    -Extras
    --theme
    --credits

As far as I can see from within the authoring program, the menu's look completely normal, but after its compiled it appears to be messed up.

For dvd-lab only: just read the quick reference part and try to create menus according to the suggestions. So fa no problem for me.

The DVD's i create with DVDLab won't play in any standalone I try, even ones i've confirmed working with backups. Also, when I open up the compiled dvd in DVD Shrink 3.2 This is what it looks like.
Menu 1 appears to be set as the title menu, and there was no such menu within the DVDLab project.

When I put the DVD in a standalone it just goes into a continuous loop or reading with an err when u try and eject it.
