I had recently converted an avi file to dvd using avs convertor. It had resulted 5 vob files in a folder video_TS. During the process of conversion it had compressed the file to accomodate within one disk. I had burnt the converted dvd with nero in a dvd disk. when I play in a dvd player, it plays only the first file. It doesn't go the next file at all and it stalls. When I do it in computer, it goes thro' Where had I gone wrong? Is there any way I can make it read one after another? Will combining all the vob files into a single file and burning it solve the problem? Request your guidance.
Are the files in the format: VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB VTS_01_3.VOB ETC. The VTS_01 part refers to this Title (in this case Title 1). The _1.VOB etc refer to the files that comprise the Title and they should play seamlessly. If they are in the format shown, run DVD Shrink and 'Open Disk'.
