I downloaded this software in a .bin format, decompressed it with Stuffit, everything goes well until I try to install the app, I click on the icon and It does not install or do nothing.

    Am I missing something here?

Please any and all suggestions are welcomed.

    TIA

    Hi
I guess your OS is Panther. If this is the case there is a very easy solution. You need Toast or Disk Utility. Drag the DVDBackup icon to whichever of those programs you are gonna use and save the file as a disk image into your hard drive. Once it is there you will only have to open the disk image and get the program. This time it will work under Panther, don't ask why but it will. Any problems get in touch.

Is this somthing indroduced by panther to prevent people from ripping dvds?

or is it some glitch with the new system?

Panther codes are slightly different from the ones used by Jaguar therefore there are some Jaguar programs that won't be recognise by Panther. So you either wait for the Panther version of these programs or you use this work around to make the programs recognisable by Panther.
