I just got nero 7 the other day. I got it because it looked simple to use. All I really want to do is back up my DVD's onto my hard drive and make copies of them when needed. I also want to put those DVD's onto my iPod and PSP when needed. On nero's box it says it does both. So far I can't do either. I would think for a $80 program you and put a DVD in and do whatever you want with it. As far as coping DVD's it says they are copy protected. And the DVD to MPEG4 I have no clue. Thanks in advance.

You will find that MOST, if not ALL commercial DVDs are copy protected. If you want to back them up then you will need a program such as AnyDVD (to break copy protection) and then use Nero Recode....as for AVI files or MPEG files you can use NeroVision, as per my basic guide

Check out the GUIDES tab at the top of the page re your ipod queerie.

AnyDVD is available for a 21 day trial from here
