I know ppl have probably posted this before but i have backed up some of my dvd's which play fine on my computer but they will play up at the end of the disk when i try to wacth the cpy on my LG dvd player!They start to skip through the chapters!! I have checked the copy with Dvdinfopro and there are no errors?? Is my dvd player crap? Thx
One thing I have noticed is DVDs may skip if setting near a magnet (TV's, clock radios or anything with speakers). First try a few different DVD players if you have access to them. If you are fortunate enough to discover they don't skip it could be the player. I persoanlly recommend MDV455 Magnavox. It is a $60 player and has played everything I have backed up so far and nothing skips.
#Ed, Try increasing your compression slightly so that you aren't writting to the outside edge of the disc AND I believe that a change to a better grade media will be of help too - I personally like Ritek or Verbatim - and Welcome to the Neiighborhood ) Pete
