A couple of years ago I purchased 321 Studios DVDXCopy 1.52 and I did not had a problem what so ever, until I got a virus on my machine and ended up reformatting the whole drive. I put 1.52 on the computer again, I have tried numerous times to get the software working again, tried contacting International Support, which I got a reply... my activations were reset to 3... however I get the 'invalid server' message... they are not able to help me... I have had it up to here with it all. I liked 1.52 as it allowed spliting up of DVD's onto 2 disks to perserve quality. I am begging for people to help me please. So, I plead, beg... to anyone at all who can provide me with feeback on software which will allow splitting of DVD's over 4.7Gig onto 2 disks to preserve quality, which is on the same par, if not better than DVD X Copy 1.52. PLEASE... I BEG YOU... Thankyou in advance.
DVDXCopy is ancient, no longer supported software. There are many better alternatives. Freeware - you should try DVD Shrink, DVD Decrytper, DVD FabDecrypter and DVD43. If you want to spend some cash AnyDVD and CloneDVD can be purchased for approx $50. Guides and links to most of these programs are available from this site.
Thanks colw... Do these programs allow for splitting of DVD's onto 2 disks (i.e. making an exact copy of the original) without 'Compression'... I only am after a program that does not compress... but makes an exact copy... (Without compression)? DVD Media used is Princo DVD (4x speed) - 4.7 Gigabyte. It is single layer.
Intervideo DVDCopy 4....will do that with no problem http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/InterVideoDVDCopy_Profile.jsp use the free trial, and a guide http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/
you might consider using DL (dual layer) media dvd decrypter and or clonedvd 2 works well . BTW dump the Princo media and use Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim
Hi brockteam u could try DVD FAB PLATINUM ,when u go into platinum mode it gives u the option to split to two discs. Its updated very often and u dont need a protection remover as it has one built in ,ive yet to come across a dvd that it couldent handle.
