dvd backup works but file too big for burning....help??

    hi iam new at this i have cd rom writer and dvd player and i use smartripper to backup my dvd now thas when im having trouble the movie are save in my hardrive but they are lots of em and some of them are too large for burning so i was wondering wat do i do to make em into one avi file and to be just 716 000 mb how can i encode em???i just want to make em like the movie file you download at bit torrent?1 avi file for 1 movie dvd rip......plsssss help i love movies....then i want to burn em on a cd rom 8o min cd.

    Your best bet, is to read:

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd2divx.cfm

    That will help you Convert your DVD into DIVX (AVI) files.

    If you have problems with that, use the Search at the top of the page, and if you cant find an answer, post in the DIVX/XVID Section, and they should be able to help.
