please help ! I have a dvd burn (LG super muti)which can burn any disk when i put in desktop it works but when i put dvd burn in a external box the dvd burn only dvd+r disk and the dvd-r doesn't work. I bring it to the store and they try some kind of dvd burns with my external box, it is the same even they change the box
Look elsewhere, the burners location doesn't effect what disc it burns - I would suggest you change media - Try "Advanced AZO" discs abd a firmware update - Pete
I carried my dvd-burn (LG 4081) and external box to the store where I bought them to check and they said to me that the box and the dvd- burn can't burn with dvd-r but it can burn with disk dvd+r. they try alot kinds of case and dvd-burn which they have to find which one is compatible with the case or the dvd that i bought to exchange one of them but the results the same that doesn't work with dvd - r. I wonder why it happened like that? and which ext case is compatible with lg 4081. my external box is in this site http://www.gogocity.com/product_details.asp?dept_id=225&pf_id=CO07CDR100. In this site they also said they are compatible? please! help!!!!
dvdnht, Tried to help but your link doesn't connect :-( Again, try either Ritek G04 or Verbatim - some burners (mine included) are very picky about what they burn - Me, I like +R media. Available firmware now allows me to burn - R media now - Give it a try - Also use this tool to check your drive and what's compatable - http://www.dvdinfopro.com/ Pete
thanks. I think my problem is about technique so the boss of the store is contacting with the manufactory to fix their ext box to compatible with any dvd burn. By the way do you know which software is the best to make your own dvd disc from vhs or digital camera? Please tell me how to use it? thanks
