Try turning DMA on using this thread. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Or, if you have ImgBurn installed, let it do it. If turning DMA on, doesn't help, you might want to try a different brand of disk: I haven't tried any of those MoserBaer disks: try setting the burn speed back to 8x or 4x - but the best blanks are generally Verbatim disks that say 'Advanced AZO' on the side or DataLife.
