First off, this is my first time here, so I hope I am posting this to the right forum... I recently downloaded some dvd files via a torrent site. The d/l completed and I tried to burn the files to DVD using Folder2ISO and DVD Decrypter with the guide located here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burn_dvd_folder_dvd_decrypter.cfm After going through the process (twice!) I have 2 DVD's that will play nicely in my PC drive, but I get a disc error on my Toshiba SD-2050 player and a ULL error on my Panasonic DMR-HS2 player/recorder. I am using TDK DVD-R 4x media with a Pioneer DVR-108 burner. Here is a copy of one of the logfiles from DVD Decrypter.. I 22:18:20 DVD Decrypter Version 3.5.4.0 started! I am not familiar with folder2iso, but it seems like all it does is create an image from files. If this is the case, then you need to first make sure your files are in DVD format (.vob, .ifo, & .bup). If not, you will have to encode them. Also, make sure you put all of your Files into a folder named VIDEO_TS (CaSe SeNsItIvE). Then create a folder called AUDIO_TS (CaSe SeNsItIvE). I think you would then have to put your two folders inside another folder. Name is something like DVDfolder. Then you can go ahead and use folder2iso. Another method, would be to create your DVD folder and use DVD shrink to create the ISO file. This way you can preview the DVD and make sure everything is correct.
here is my method turns out compliate dvds 99% of the time You will need to the get the following prog's Winavi 6.3 TMPGenc Dvd Author 1.6 take the mpeg avi vob etc and run it thru winavi to get the dvd files then run those through tmpgenc and out comes a dvd
