hi here's my problem!! out of the blue my burner stopped working after a few resets i got it back but my computer doesn't see it anymore I/O magic 16x, usb 2.0, running xp home i tried safe mode and same thing anybody have an idea why??
Not sure if this will work, but worth a try. Right Click on "My Computer" - click on "Properties" - click on "Hardware" - click on "Device Manager" - then click on your ide controller and disable it. Reboot your computer and see if it recognizes it and reinstalls it.
thanks for the help!! it's kind of weird right now it is pluggeg in my usb hub i kind of had it working for a few hours pluged in the hub but now when i reset the drive the light on the hub goes on for 5 secondsthen goes off!! i tried what you told me didn't work i troubleshoot it and i got that error message This device cannot start. (Code 10) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
