my computer has a cd burner built into it and i was wondering just how to hell to use it. can i make a disc to disc copy? can i convert files off the net and then burn them as well? can i burn dvd material or files off my hard drive to cdr disc to be played in my dvd player? or do i need to only use dvdr discs? any help is great. thanks a lot.
You can't use DVD-R discs with CD writer, you need a DVD writer (costs from $300 to $1000 in U.S.). But you can copy DVD movies with pretty good quality to two or three CDs with VideoCD format and those CDs will (almost certainly) work with your DVD player.
