Hello i just bought a i/o magic dvd burner with light scribe and was wondering if they print color labels. Also the drive came with a version of nero 6. Is there a version of ner 7 that supports light scribe labeling.

I/O magic uses different manufacturers for their drives. It may be a benq 1655 or another brand name.

What is the exact model# of that drive?

Lightscribe burners just etch onto lightscribe media. It's more of a gold and dark bronze shades look,no major color other than that.

For color discs, you may want to check out the epson r-series printers. They can print on inkjet printable media, directly to the disc itself. No stickers/no glue/no playback issues unlike the sticker type labels.
    R-200
    R-220
    R-300

    R-340

The 200 series is the lower budget and the 300 series has more bells and whistles like card reader and view screen. Stores like Bestbuy/staples/office depot/office max/and sams club carry the epson r-series.Usually anywher from $50 to $180. They come with Epson Print cd software to run the backup disc directly through the printer using a special tray. Special media is required.

I've got nero6,but just for burning only. Not sure about nero7. I don't think they have the light scribe function. Your drive should have come with Sonic. Sonic has a couple programs for the scribing:

    Express labeler
Sure thing cd label 4 SE.

Both programs will do the lightscribing. I use surething and my dad uses express labeler. These programs a almost identical to epson's print cd program for my full hub printable media.
