   Hello
   this may seem a dumb question, but I am only new at this burning game.
   Can you tell why my RICOH DVD+RW/+R BURNER will only burn on to dvd+rw discs and not dvd+r discs.
   Any help would be much appreciated.

   Here's a link to updated Ricoh firmwares but be very sure of the model number for your drive before installing - don't guess.

   Newer firmwares typically improve media compatibilty which may help in your case
