I own DvD Copy 3 Platinum, but I don't have a dvd burner yet. I was wondering what kind of EXTERNAL dvd burner would be the best, and of course one that is compatible with DVD Copy 3. I think DVD+R/RW is the best kind?

    thanks,

    Kian

i would definitely get a ±R(W) instead of just +R(W). Maybe even get a dual layer burner, they're pretty cheap now. The discs are still outrageous though, but just like everything else they too will drop in price.

I used DVD Copy 3 for a couple of days and it just wasn't my thing, so I'm not sure if there's any burners it doesn't like, but it shouldn't matter what burner you get.

Depends on what kind of money you want to spend for your external, they run about 100.00 to 200.00. I own a Plextor 716UF, which I highly recommend or the Benq 1620 external is also very good, these are high end. You can also get a Lite-on external for about a 110.00, check out http://www.newegg.com they have a good selection.
