Hard to say there is so many good ones about.Alot of people say the pioneer 108 is best value for money. You can't go wrong with a pioneer.
Hey jayprez, Here are the top 4 to consider, not in any specific order: Pioneer,Plextor,Nec,and Benq. All 4 of these are highly recommended here. I have the I/o magic Idvd16dd which was built by benq, model #1610.I got this at staple's day after thanksgiving sale for $39.99 after rebate. They are now marked at $129.00.It is performing perfect. Later
Hey saugmon i tend to disagree with your top four.I reckon these are probably the leading pack at present in the dvd writer battle.Pioneer,Sony,NEC,Lite-on. Plexter is a good drive don't get me wrong but when it comes to value for money these are the 4 most go for mate.
I kinda like my BeNQ DVD DD DW1620. But as far as I have heard the Pioneer 108 is the best bang for your buck!
Well i presently have a lite-on and a NEC and both are really good drives. But i have had a pioneer in the past so i know where people are coming from.Pioneer you can't knock them bloody good drives. This would be a much better choice than getting a BeNQ.
