Bye. so there's my error message when using shrink 3.2. I am getting moderatly frustrated with the pile of coasters I'm accruing. I'm using both cheap media and some better verbatim dvd -rs. I've also used a dvd-ram disc.. and it WORKED. so I'm sure it COULD be media. But I also used some dvd-rs that worked in a 4082b at work .. but don't work for me. I have an lg 4082b btw. I'm going to be picking up some ritek discs.. but please, before I spend a fortune.. let me know if I would be better off spending my time rma'ing this drive. THX! [edit] Focus or tracking error is what I get in nero, dvd decrypter, etc etc etc. just to narrow it down. The drive works rarely- on the one dvd ram disc once, and to do regular data backup, at waaaay under 4.6/4.3 gigs.
