i have downloaded several movie clips and have tried now for a week to burn a dvd. i am using nero express but the files i have download will not let me even transfer them over to the burner bc/ it shows it needs to be a .bup, .vob and .ifo file. what the heck is that and how can i convert them to that so i can burn dvds. thanks for the response in advance.
Dear money_man, Downloaded movie clips are often in certain video formats such as avi, mpeg etc.. If these are what you got, you first need to convert them into dvd compliant format (i.e. with Audio_TS and Video_TS folders) with e.g. VSO DivxToDVD (free version) before burning with e.g. Nero: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm It's also better to burn with Nero Recode.
thanks for the reply. i have download it and now in the process of converting one of my movies. seems to be working fine so far, but just converting now keeping fingers crossed). your help is greatly appreciated as i have tried several sites and they just gave me the run around. i will follow up w/ a post in a few days w/ my status. thanks again.
