i am trying to burn a DivX movie on to a dvd. im using win AVI video converter to get my vts files. now i used DVD Shrink and folder2 iso to get the iso file. then i use dvd decryptor to burn the iso. everything works fine as far as the burning goes. i put it my dvd player says file won't work. i put it back in the dvd burner and the dvd shows it has the vts files on it. any suggestions on what may be going on ?

There are a few things that could have happened. You really didn't need to use Folder2ISO as Shrink would have created the ISO and switched to Decryptor when finished.

Did you put both the Audio_TS and Video_TS folders on the disc?

Some DVD players will only play a +R disc (booktyped) others like the -R format discs. Some player will not play a RW disc (if that is what you used).

What brand of disc did you use? What speed did you burn at?

Give us a little more information.

Maxell isn't a very good quality disc.

Does the disc play OK in the burner?

Please, don't shout. Typing in all Caps is considered shouting.

You need to join the two parts together or try a converter like ConvertXtoDVD.

Look toward the bottom of the messages. I posted how to burn 2 movies together.

Don't be hard on dolphin2. He is a good guy with a lot of knowledge. He was just reminding you that when you type in all caps it is considered shouting.
