hi, I am trying to locate a good program to burn AVI/MPG/ or pretty much any video to dvd including subtitles. My wife's korean subtitles are in .smi format. I found a few programs, but they can't add .smi files. Thank you.
By .smi, do you mean Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language? That's the Filext entry that seems to fit the bill, at the very least. It looks like it's a programming language, not so much an actual subtitle file. ...but I could be wrong... Hm... Well, from what I've been able to dig up, it seems you can open Sami (is that the subtitle you're talking about?) subtitles with SubResync, and I'd suggest saving it as an .srt or some other more common file. But that's as far as I can get. If that works, then from there, all you'd have to do is use ConvertXtoDVD or any other DVD authoring program to convert your videos to DVD.
