Im going start making labels for my DVD cases and I was wondering about cutting 8.5" x 11" paper with scissors or cutting thingy vs buying the pre cut perforated inserts?

    Any suggestions?

I use 8.5 X 11 paper, and use a sliding paper cutting thingy (that's the technical term.)

In case you don't feel like scanning your covers in and printing them, there's a site that has many of them pre scanned. http://www.cdcovers.cc/dvd_0.php

Man! Making covers and all for your backups. You fancy city folk...scanning and printin'...

I stick em in a slimline jewel, slap a post-it on the inside and I'm done!

Thats the redneck way of doing backups...

    Cheap and easy.

It would be a very different story if I didn't have access to a colour laser printer at work. My boss just shakes his head at me and laughs.

I do what Ken does. I get about 100 DVD Covers in high quality per each set of black and colour ink cartridges. The ink costs £24. Im happy with that.
